Lisa Casamayor is the mother of six and grandmother of four. Lisa has always been inspired by mothers and fathers who love to learn and are committed to teaching their children through every opportunity life presents. She has been homeschooling for the past 23 years, & is convinced there is no one more committed to the character development and education of a child than a responsive, loving parent.

Paul Faris, President of HSLDA Canada, defines homeschooling, speaks to common misconceptions about the practice, and explains why so many families are choosing this lifestyle. If you have questions about homeschooling, or if you hardly know what questions to ask, let this session demystify and clarify homeschooling for you.
Paul Faris is senior legal counsel and President of Home School Legal Defence Association of Canada. For the past 12 years, Paul has defended the rights of homeschoolers in many levels of court and tribunal, before Parliament, before the Senate, in provincial legislatures, and in the media. Paul’s legal expertise makes him a strong advocate for the homeschooling community at large, while his down-to-earth and personable nature makes him a trusted and involved friend to the HSLDA members. Having both been successfully homeschooled, Paul and his wife, Suzanne, now also homeschool their children.
