Calvin SmithSpeaker Bio
Calvin has spoken at churches across Canada (and sometimes internationally) on creation apologetics since 2001. For seven years he has also written and cohosted a TV show broadcast worldwide dealing with the creation/evolution issue. He is well known for his ability to engage audiences of all ages and being able to communicate theological concepts and scientific information in an easy-to-understand manner.
Calvin was formerly on the pastoral staff of a church in Guelph, Ontario, overseeing the youth and small group ministries. Through working with young people, both inside the church and with a small group at the University of Guelph, Calvin personally witnessed the devastation brought to our youth by the teaching of evolutionary rationalism. But he also saw the life-transforming effect of biblical answers that encourage people to know that God’s Word can be trusted from the very first verse.
Calvin lives with his wife in Ingersoll, Ontario. His hobbies include music and wrestling.

Topic: Documenting High School
A long time ago Suzette was trained as an "educator". She worked briefly in the school system before truly beginning her career homeschooling her 4 children. It's been approximately 17 years, although in reality, it's been longer, because . . . when do we really begin teaching our children at home??? One of the main questions that has defined Suzette in this ambitious task is, "what do we do with DIVERSITY and DESTINY?" Diversity in personalities, learning styles, strengths, weaknesses, or just interests? The different drives that propel each individual towards destinies? It was all too much to fit into " a program", or "curriculum". This has lead Suzette on a wild journey of discovery. Pressing into God for the answers of HOW to teach our children to really prepare them for what HE HAS PLANNED for their lives.
